Skrice Studios, the creators of the widely popular mobile strategy game Heroes of Mavia, has officially introduced the MAVIA token on the Ethereum blockchain. The game, reminiscent of the success of Clash of Clans, garnered over a million downloads within days of its recent release.
In a strategic move, Heroes of Mavia initiated an airdrop program benefiting 100,000 players and holders of approximately 10,000 Ethereum NFT land plots within the game. The MAVIA token made its debut on Ethereum early this week, experiencing a remarkable 36% surge, reaching a current value of nearly $3.10, as reported by CoinGecko.
Market activity has been robust, with trading volume exceeding $95 million on platforms such as Bybit and Crypto.com. The MAVIA token now boasts a market cap exceeding $92 million.
Skrice Studios, the visionary minds behind Heroes of Mavia, integrated the MAVIA crypto token into the gameplay. Additionally, the studio sold NFT land plots that seamlessly integrate with the gaming experience.
Since its release last week, Heroes of Mavia has seen an overwhelming response, with more than a million downloads. The airdrop program, open to players who linked their game accounts to the Heroes of Mavia website, swiftly reached its 100,000 participant limit prior to the token launch.
In a further boost to the community, individuals who own Ethereum land plots and engaged in NFT staking programs starting in early 2022 will also receive a share of the MAVIA tokens.
Skrice Studios has secured substantial funding, exceeding $8 million, with support from notable backers such as Binance Labs, Crypto.com Capital, and Animoca Brands. The successful integration of crypto rewards into the gaming ecosystem underscores the studio’s commitment to innovation and player engagement.
